My husband and I hired Carrie to help us find our next home. We had a long list of requirements like staying within a specified school boundary along with list of “must haves” in a pandemic and scarcity induced highly competitive market with a “less desirable” loan package. We, as buyers, we’re acutely aware of the task at hand, and difficulty of achieving desired results in a red hot sellers market. Carrie was knowledgeable, understanding, resourceful and most of all, she was patient, honest and provided us with a lot of information to contemplate on our decisions. After many showings, several rejected offers, hundreds of phone calls, we’ve landed our dream home, without getting into a bidding war with other buyers. The offer strategy Carrie suggested, how to make personalize a very impersonal transaction and how to convince the sellers that we were solid buyers. Carrie worked very hard to build relationship with the seller’s agent that made our buying process very smooth, no hiccups. We’ve been in our home for almost 2 years and could not be any more happier with it. No buyer’s remorse. This was the best buying experience we’ve had. Thank you Carrie.

I was introduced to Carrie through another agent who had been very helpful to me in the past but was moving on to a new job. At that time I was looking to list my condo and buy a small house.

Carrie stepped in to assist me and list my condo.  She did an amazing job with presentation and helpful suggestions regarding the listing.  We were all set to go and then covid really hit the real estate market.  It was obvious to both of us that it was not the right time to sell a condo so I decided to wait.

She was so patient and helpful through such a hard time.  We kept in touch and spoke regularly while she kept an eye on the market for me.  When the time was right, we listed again and had results within a week!  Then we started searching for just the right house for me.

When we found the house that was a possibility for me, Carrie immediately assessed the liabilities and assets of the house and helped me decide if it was something I was able to take on.

The journey from listing, selling, looking then buying was almost a year and a half from start to finish (thanks to covid) but I am now in a perfect home for me and I will forever be grateful to Carrie for her knowledge of the real estate market and her focus to be sure I found the right home.

She not only did an amazing job of staying on top of my listing, but she took the time to get to know me.  Whether it was sitting down with a cup of tea to chat about life in general, or taking a day to go look at gardens, Carrie became a friend.

Working with Carrie was a wonderful experience. In our case, we were looking for a unicorn in a very busy market, and Carrie never skipped a beat as we jumped from neighborhood to neighborhood looking for that perfect livable fixer. Carrie is one of those real estate agents that actually likes houses, not just her job, and was wonderful company while walking through house after house pointing out great details of each place while balancing that with concerns from her experiences that could affect the buying process. Late Spring/early summer, 2020...I couldn’t have chosen a more complicated time to be house hunting.  But all it took was Carrie Warlaumont’s expertise, meticulous attention to detail and friendly, personable demeanor to make every part of the process flow seamlessly.  It was a crazy time, home inventories were low and demand was unbelievably high.  Offering $50k over asking price wasn’t enough to compete with other desperate buyers.  At one point, I was ready to settle, thinking I could make it work with the first seller who accepted my offer.  This is where you find out how intuitive and conscientious your realtor is.  This is what separates a good realtor from an exceptional one.  I had already put in my good faith offer, went to the property for inspection, and although I had internalized some hesitation, I had intended to go through with the purchase.  Later that evening Carrie called me because she could sense something was off and was able to get me to be honest with myself.  That conversation was so empowering for me.  Needless to say, I retracted my offer.  Less than a month later, we found my dream home.  I highly recommend Carrie, and do not need to think twice about reaching out to her should that need be realized.
